He comes to us with rich ministry experience having planted a church in the Cleveland area where he pastored for eight years prior to joining the staff at North Coast Church, where he coordinated several inner city ministries, helped to start Love INC of Cuyahoga County, and organized their small group ministry. Gary took an early retirement from chemistry to serve full time as a staff pastor at North Coast Church.
After six years he felt called to return to the world of chemistry, and to go back to pastoring in a volunteer mode. Gary is a bi-vocational pastor employed full time as a research chemist by AkzoNobel (Glidden Paint). He did his graduate work in polymer chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University. Gary and his wife of over four decades, Barb were high school sweet hearts. They have four children, Dawn Dulin (husband Mike), Missy Hammond (husband Bob), Jonathan (wife Anne), and David (wife Jen). Presently they have 13 grandchildren. Barb is a retired teacher, now full time grandmother and home maker.
